It is a substance that reduces surface tension by adsorbing to the interface in an aqueous solution and has excellent foaming and cleaning power, so it is used as a main ingredient in personal care products, detergents, and household or industrial cleaners.
It is mainly divided into anionic, cationic, amphoteric, and nonionic surfactants. In particular, Aekyung Chemical’s anionic surfactant produced through a continuous gas-liquid process has the largest production capacity in Korea.
